The Archipelago Los Roques is a Federal agency that brings together a group of islands and cays in the Lesser Antilles belonging to Venezuela which have an estimated 40.61 square kilometers and are located between the archipelago Las Aves (west) and the surface island of La Orchila (east) 176 km north of Caracas and is one of the main tourist attractions of the country, is part of Insular Territory Francisco de Miranda, 6 May is national and estimated park in the year 2014 had 3,100 permanent inhabitants (being the most populous federal agency). It has an area of approximately 221,120 hectares between sea and land spaces, and is considered the largest marine park in Latin America (see Archipelago Los Roques National Park).
