As a small group of students on the East Coast of the United States, we wish to explore some of the natural wonders of the West Coast. The opportunity came when the summer vacation began, and most importantly the cheap airfare, the group decided to hit the road.
Day 0: We landed at the airport at 19:00 at Las Vegas, rented a car at the airport and returned to the hotel for the next 10 days.

Day 1: Our first destination was Death Valley, located between the states of California and Nevada. The lowest point here is 86m below sea level. The day we reached the outdoor temperature was over 50oC. When we came down from the car, we felt like we were standing on a fire. An unforgettable experience from the cool East Coast to the extreme West Coast.

Day 2: Our next destination is Yosemite National Park, California. Waterfalls from the height of 70 meters down, lakes, peaceful forests where grazing cattle grazed, the roads on the ridge of winding 3-4km high, causing us to go from surprise to another surprise.

Day 3: Another stop on our route is Lake Tahoe, a clear lake between California and Nevada. This is the second deepest lake in the US with a depth of 500m. During the day the lake may have different colors, because the water is very clear, the sunlight when shining into the lake will refract and create such phenomena.

Day 4: Our fourth stop is Yellowstone National Park, located in the western states of Yoming, Montana, and Idaho. Here we are experiencing exotic natural phenomena such as 60 m above the ground sprinklered from the underground, heated volcanic lakes or lakes of different colors due to oxidized metal .

Day 5: Our next destination is Arches National Park, in Utah. Here we can admire the wonders of the red rocks such as the Delicate Arch (a rocky stand alone, the symbol of Utah) or Balanced Rock (a block of about three buses about the balance of the rock. other).

Day 6: Then we went to Zion National Park, Utah. We were delighted to wade under the cool stream that ran through the ravine, although temperatures outside the 40 ° C

day 7: On the way we passed the Colorado River. This river borders Arizona and Nevada, Arizona and Calif.

Day 8: The next day we went to the Grand Canyon, this is a very steep canyon created by the Colorado River in Arizona. Standing in front of the Grand Canyon with hundreds of kilometers in length, a width of nearly 30km and a depth of nearly 2km, we found ourselves so small in front of such majestic nature.

Day 9: Continue our journey is Hoover Dam (Hoover Dam, named after President Herbert Hoover), located on the border between the states of Arizona and Nevada. With the height of the dam up to 200m, the wind here is very strong, we always have the feeling of being blown away when not knowing.

Day 10: Our last stop was returning to Las Vegas. This place is famous for its casino, the show all through the night. We can not help but admire the ability to improve the human environment, from a desert place, they have improved the environment, turning an arid desert into a glittering city.
