Yes they are Namwa variety - they are much more dense then the Cavendish variety sold everywhere. Quite tasty and a good filling snack but the are almost like a giant mochi and two of them can really fill you up. And yes sometimes I am fruitarian! In Japan its difficult, but in Thailand, of course! Although I might go eat some Pad Thai for dinner ;)

Me toooo - but Thai mango is not so sweet..
This is so cool! I lived in the Philippines for two years and was able to eat some amazing fruits. Mango of course, Rambutan, and a bunch of others. Wow that dragon fruit is so cheap! it costs like 4 to 5 dollars for just one dragon fruit here in Phoenix. Crazy! I am a bit jealous right now. :) lol
