California-Santa Monica, the ocean and the pier. My impressions in a lot of pictures with descriptions. #Some of my memories from journeys (last part)

Santa Monica welcomed us with a cloudy and misty day but very high temperature. I think it was good for us because if it was a sunny day it would be too hot. Obviously the weather wasn't good for my shots but I had only one day so I did what I could.

In my opinion Santa Monica is such a beautiful place that even in the cloudy little foggy day the pier and the beach reflected their charm ;) I totally agree when somebody would say dramatic shots. Yes, indeed. However, I think it is an interesting perspective of the landscape which gave me that spectacular and mysterious light.

Beautiful pier with lots of shops, restaurants and street musicians. At the entrance is almost a hundred years old building of the hippodrome, where there is a beautiful old-style carousel as well as an amusement park. Wide sandy beach just perfect for walking. The gentle sand and warm ocean rocked our feet. On the pier ends the road 66.

Some of the people really had fun in that day. I captured a girl enjoying the waves as well as me ;)

I could really just sit there and enjoy it magnificent ocean and the wind which moved my hair in the different directions ;)

I hope you like the trip to beautiful Santa Monica with amazing views of the ocean and the pier. Santa Monica was my last stop. Thank you for being with me during my all trip in October. I recommend everyone to visit California I'm convinced that each one of you will find something valuable and amazing for yourself. Maybe my posts helped you in deciding or even writing down in a bucket list ;)

Great pictures! I never get tired of seeing the beach, it's one my favorite places to spend time. I really need to make the drive to Santa Monica, it's a couple hours away but I haven't been there in almost 10 years! I remember going to the awesome restaurants they have there, great food and atmosphere!
