Namaste dear steemians!
Today I will write 7 Tips that I consider most relevant when you organize a trip with young children, in addition to the first 2 that I shared with you in my previous post.

1) TO ACQUIRE EXPERIENCE, START TRAVELING TO PLACES WHERE YOU FEEL SAFE.
When we become parents, in general, we start feeling some FEARS that we never had before. These fears may disappear as we gain confidence in ourselves as responsible for our children in places far from our home, neighborhood or city. How do we achieve that confidence? Traveling, traveling, traveling and planning the trip in detail, so that the unexpected is minimal.
Where would we feel safer? in those places where we have family, friends or where we have already traveled previously and know as the palm of our hand. In this way we will begin to exercise as family travelers, and kids, will be able to enjoy their parents in a "relaxed mode" and not stressed, for the possible risks that could appear in each corner when you travel with small children.

2) INVESTIGATE PREVIOUSLY ABOUT THE PLACE, BETTER ACCOMMODATIONS TO GO IN FAMILY AND ACTIVITIES TO ENJOY WITH CHILDREN.
This point is very important, since having an anticipated idea of the accommodation and its surroundings and the activities to do with your children, you will feel calmed. In addition, after a day journey, it is highly advisable to arrive at a pleasant and safe place to sleep, with facilities nearby to go eating and get distracted a little. In this way we free ourselves from the stress that can be felt after several hours by car or plane.
At this point I can share an experience, a couple of years ago we traveled to Santiago de Chile with a baby and a 3 years old kid, we previously booked a room in a nice hotel with a park just in front of it. After an 8 hours journey that was extended by the tail in the customs, we arrived at a hotel surrounded by green spaces, with an excellent attention from the check in and a very comfortable room. The first thing was to leave the suitcases in our room, the second ... going to the playground there in the park until the night! It was a perfect moment to start enjoying the trip as soon as we arrived at the destination chosen on that occasion.

3) TO ENCOURAGE INTERACTION WITH OTHER CHILDREN.
It is part of the adventure, playing with children who grew up in another city, town or country and could be very enriching for your children, as they will know first hand other games, ideas, ways to have fun, meals, etc.
Make friends in different places, will awake in your kids LOVE and the desire to travel !!
4) MODIFY YOUR TRAVEL RYTHM AND ADAPT YOUR PLANS TO THEM.
Be aware always, that you are traveling with children. Times of backpacking have changed and also endless walks in one day, going through several places of interest, sometimes without stopping to eat for hours. If you want to avoid crying and fights among children, plan your days interspersing adults activities with others that are fun for children. For example: if one morning you go to a museum, take the children to have lunch to a fun place .
5) TAKE A BOTIQUIN.
In general it doesn´t have to happen anything serious, but to take a medicine kit with the most habitual remedies in the life of your children, can be a salvation. According to the trip to a rural area where it is difficult to find pharmacies in several kilometers around or another country where the names of the remedies are different, having this kit would be a great relief and support for any eventuality.
6) MOTHERS WITH BABIES SOULD TAKE ALMOST TWO ALTERNATIVES TO CARRY ON THEM.
It is important to prepare before traveling and include in the luggage of the babies : a pram, fular baby carrier or a backpack to carry on the baby, because if you like to walk when you have several days with a walking routine with the baby carried, could be a grat support to take a pram.
7) BITACORA.
Encourage your kids having the habit of writting about their trips. Collect tickets from the bus, zoo, labels from other countries and paste them into their diary. Drawing about what they like most, talking about their sensations and emotions in each new discovered place, could be an invaluable memory for them.
