There are many uses of seashells. It can be used as a home decoration, jewelry, picture frame & other things you can think of if you are just creative enough. This has been a lucrative business most especially if you are into exportation. Many business minded individuals grow in this kind of business.
One afternoon, on my way to buy food I saw seashells were dried under the heat of the sun. I approached and talked to the worker. According to him, they have many local suppliers of seashells because I asked him if I can sell him shells that my husband got from the sea as our viand.
After they cleaned the shells with chlorine they placed it into sun drying, & then process it according to the designs demanded by the client. They don’t sell to local buyers.
I was glad I was given the chance to get inside & take pictures one of their items. This is a garland carefully made by their workers.
yeah it is a good business.
