Anyone who has visited Singapore or live there, meets these goodies often.
The meals are multi-source based on Malaysian, Chinese, Tamil and Indian cuisine.
I'll show you a few basic tastes of sweet, commonly found on the streets or food stores.
Hunt for sweets
You will find beautiful ornate desserts of European type in the Singapore. I was attracted by the untraditional flavors of macaroons.
Squid ink and salmon.
I was warned in the store that there was a real slice of fish in the macaroons, but it tasted good to me. =D
Jelly attack
Before I came to Asia I hated the jelly, but the jelly has a completely different meaning here. Now I adore jelly. ♥
This "yummy" also appears in ice-cream cups. I tasted this in the Marina Bay foodcourt. yeah I know ... sometimes the forms are infantile =)
My favorite is using matcha tea or green tea in the jelly or cakes.
On the picture - jelly egg's shape, jelly cake, kuih dadar and jelly in a small box.
Green tea cake
In the china town area I found this traditional jelly sprinkled with coconut.
Called Ondeh ondeh (I think ...)
Stalls with fruit, where they prepare fresh drink, you can usually see a rainbow lapis and agar agar.

Matcha/green tea over and over again
Coconut Crepes (Kuih Dadar) - pancake stuffed with coconut and flavored with pandan juice
Pandan cake - green-colored sponge cake.
Ice Kachang - made of ice and red beans...It's more ice with flavor than ice-cream, ice cream can be bought in a cup or different type.
Drinks
There is also a cheaper alternative to sweet refreshment - Sugarcane juice !
It's type of grass ( peeled sugar cane stalks), which is crushed in a milling process to produce liquid cane juice.
You can meet these stalls everywhere.
Fresh drinks
And finally ... jelly also in drinks =D
I will gradually add other flavors of Singapore and Asia.
Thanks for reading.
