Dear Steemian Friends,
I´m sharing with you an amazing experience about living up in the hills. This is in Andalucia, Southern Spain. This terrace is about 400 meters above sea level and is around 4 Km to the Mediterranean Sea. We spend our winter months here around October til sometime in February of the following year, escaping the cold Central Europe.
From this terrace, you can see part of the Mediterranean Sea . On the other side to the right, we have one more terrace that is higher than this one and we can see the view of the buildings down the coast as well as the cruise liners or cargo ships sailing the sea from the Strait of Gibraltar or from the Ports of Malaga heading towards major european port destinations. In some instances, the temperatures in Andalucia may change during winter time and we shiver when the day´s temperature reaches 5°C. A good stove and a working fireplace often do wonders.
In colder days, we have more fogs and everytime clouds strive past us, we´d have a zero visibility. These pics were taken in one of the foggy days up in the mountains of Torrox. Though thick in clouds , we don´t see anything below our level ... the nicer thing as always is the sun shines nicely
Keep smiling and may you enjoy a wonderful weekend!
xoxo,
Mers
