VISITING HIDDEN BEACH IN KLIMNO, ISLAND OF KRK, CROATIA

During our trip to the island of Krk, we stopped at the little village called Klimno. My boyfriend and I wanted to take a swim somewhere and we parked our car and went searching for the beach. Than after a while we saw this...

I fell in LOVE when I saw this place... It was early in the morning and after we took a swim there, he went to work and I picked my sisters kids and we went there again :)

You can see two of them playing around in the sea, and the third one is around me :)

I find this beach perfect for the little ones, because they can go far in the sea, but still the water is shallow... That way they can play and learn to swim and dive without fear...

These two are almost 3 and 5 years old and now we are teaching them to swim without swimming rings :)

I couldn't believe that this beach was almost empty in July... Usually in July and August, beaches on the island are crowded with people... I guess we were lucky to find this hidden treasure :)

This beach is sandy, perfect for building castles or drawing on it :) And than, when you are tired of building and drawing - just run to the sea and refresh yourself :) Wooohooo!!!

You can see from the photos that one side of the beach is sunny and the other (where I am) has some shade. That way I can watch these two from here and jump in if needed.

On the photo below you can see the spot from which I took these photos. This is where we had all of our stuff... And this is Mia, my oldest niece, 6 years old :) I'm sorry, she is 6 and a half years old :)

Color of her bathing suit matched the surroundings :) She looks cool here :)

And the view from this spot is perfect. Such a peaceful, relaxing scenery everywhere you look around. On the photo below you can see the houses in Ćižići (funny word, I know, even for croatian people :). Čižići is the name of that village across the sea. Also something beautiful to see when you come to the island...

We jumped from this boardwalk into the sea, and than we climbed back to jump again :) The temperature of the sea was ideal - 25 °C. Wonderful day...

I'm so excited that we discovered this heaven on Earth (only 30 min driving from Rijeka) and we all agreed to visit this beach more often. This side of the island is interesting to research... If you ever pass this way (you never know) - check up this hidden treasure...
