Bare with me steemers while I figure out a way to get into the groove of posting regularly.
My upcoming trip across the pond starts in about two weeks. This was a last minute booking and our modes of transportation are a bit different but I'm excited to see how it folds. We didn't really have anywhere in mind but our options were either Bangkok / Tokyo or UK / France. Due to limited time off we chose the later option since it would save about 2 days in travel time.
A little lost but sometimes thats exactly what you need. (Nimes, France)
We'll be flying out of (SWF) Stewart International Airport which will be a first for us but it was the cheapest flight out of New York at the moment and getting us over to Belfast. We're flying with Norwegian Air they are a low cost airline so be prepared for a review on that once we're back. I don't know much about Belfast and I guess i'm not giving it a good chance because we'll be flying out that same night to London via Ryanair. That should give us enough time to explore the city get some food and off we go.
Once we're in London we'll have 4 days there to see the city and sights. Luckily we crossed off most of the big attractions the last time we were there but this visit will be more about day tripping. Think Stonehenge, Bath and maybe Brighton. Then off on the eurostar to shoot on over to Paris. We were just in Paris about 3 months ago and this is will probably be our 4th or 5th time within the past few years. Paris has become one of my favorite cities in the EU. Not only is Paris always a good idea but its a great hub to reach anywhere else in the EU. Another option was to go from London to Brussels via the Eurostar but we'll save that for another time. While in Paris we have time for one day trip that we haven't decided between Chantilly or Lille.
A little caffeine before the hike in Meteora, Greece
Can't wait to get back and post some amazing photos and tell you all about it over a cup of coffee. Do you have any suggestions for day trips from London & Paris? I'd love to hear from all you and plan based on what you all think!
Also, What are your thoughts on verification photos? Should I post one? =)
Can't wait for this trip! Paris is always a good idea indeed. You should do a post about the low cost carriers like Norwegian!
