Returning to my story about Little India district of Singapore ...

I would like to tell you that in this place first time in my life I have tasted green coconut.

The top of the coconut was cut off and I received the fruit with tube and spoon.

However without help of two young very nice ladies I would never have learned that it is necessary to scrape off the delicate inner layer of coconut using of a spoon. As a result the coconut juice became sweet, slightly jellied and significantly tastier. Also the girls strongly suggested me to try their food – special rice, Asian soup and pieces of chicken. It was very kind from their side.

bright colors and architecture of Little India, which are completely different from the modern districts of the City, have surrounded me.

It turns out they sell young coconut too ...

It seems so :-)))

Missed photo opportunity there, you should have sat on the elephant while holding a coconut and take a selfie!

Sorry, but It was not possible! The elephant was small enough and the coconut was big enough. No chance :-))) Next time I will pay more attention to sizes of elephants and coconuts and will take selfie definitely! Many thanks for your funny comment! I like it very much :D

The shading, grins and scents are all genuinely sub mainland and warm, making this one of the city'statemust-visit districts. Each neighborhood has an unmistakable identity, culture, and legacy that offer a one of a kind knowledge into the city.

Hey @mindsoul great photography in Little India. this is a place in Singapore where we can get all Indian things, food and can see Indian tradition. I have visited Little India at least 100 times and whenever I go there, I feel excited and enjoy there. Mustafa is one the biggest shopping centre in Little India and all Indian items are available here and its open 24x7. Nevertheless to say that there are many eateries and restaurant offering Indian cuisine.

Thank you very much for your informative reply, which significantly supplemented my story!
