Traveling to the north-west from Glasgow between Perth and Scone you may visit Scone Palace and ...
its nearest attractions the main of them is the place of the crowning of the kings of Scots. The Scone Palace was built in 12th century, but it gained present appearance in 1812 year.
The place of crowning of the kings of Scots is located on the Hill of Credulity near the Chapel
where the replica of the Stone of Scone is mounted (the original is stored in Edinburg Castle).
There are many stories and legends about the Stone and the period of its appearance. One of them stipulates that the Stone is appeared 1th millennium BC and determines using the Stone of Scone in the crowning from 847 year.
Inside of the Chapel there is monument dated 17Th century which illustrates the crowning ceremony.
Also here there is very special attraction - Murray Star Maze at Scone Palace ...
and the fountain with the statue of water nymph Arethusa.
It is very interesting, adventure and romantic place, which proves that exit from deadlock situation is in the same place where the entrance:D
