"The Eastern Skywalk," this glass bridge is the new Chinese tourist attraction that stands at 4,700 meters above sea level beside the Tianmen Mountain in Zhangjiajie, China. In order to keep the path clear of glass, tourists are asked to cover their shoes before passing.
The 200-foot long bridge was built in early summer and is similar to the original Grand Canyon Skywalk in the US.
The purpose of this bridge is to allow tourists to observe through the 2.5-inch glass of transparent glass, the bottom of the barrel, as if one were suspended in the air. Halfway on the bridge, there is a huge natural cave where you will find a special native flora with differences.
The Tianmen Mountain (Heavenly Gate Mountain) is named after a huge natural cave that occurs halfway to the summit. Located in Hunan province, its highest peak is 5,000 meters above sea level and is home to a lot of rare plant species.
