Hey, ladies and gentleman's.
As you can see I absolutely love traveling. Before trying extreme conditions I used to hitchhike a lot.
Back in 2014 I hitchhiked with my ex girlfriend all the way across Scandinavia.
Journey started from Lithuania - Latvia - Estonia - Finland - Sweden - Norway and then way down to capital Oslo and then we took a flight back to Kaunas. As I remember it was like 30 euro per ticket and we wanted to get back home as fast as we can.
This is a photo of me going somewhere from old Wolkswagen van which we hitchhiked in Norway. It was young German couple.
First car stopped within 10mins. Super easy.
This is me in fancy cafeteria in Tallinn. Dude, it was amazing.
Here I am in arctic circle, really nearby real Santa Claus house. In Rovaniemi, Finland.
Norkapp, Norway. Northmost point of continental Europe. North Cape!
Picture from google, I cannot find my picture. I lost it somewhere.. :/
Hey, look! I found one! I like this picture. Just me looking nowhere. Beautiful.
This is our tent and stuff. I guess it's from Finland.
Whoa. Here it was so hard to hitchhike. No one stopped for 4 hours. I just needed to rest for a while.
And think this is a best picture of me from that trip. This is morning in local cafe shop in Finland, Oulu.
Whole journey was almost 3 weeks. Back then it was long trip and long time not being home. Looking from today's perspective - 3 weeks is nothing.
I think that's it guys. I can write about it in more details. Just tell me if you want.
Thanks,
Narovski here!
That an awesome adventure! And a fantastic mix of photos with writing! 😀
Thank you so much, Karen :)
I spent a lot of time in a van like that myself years ago.
This one was from 1986 as I remember. Which year was your's?
Same year I think, Westfallia, sort of an orange color. Me and about 3-4 friends traveled around in it as teenagers. It had the sink, stove, and pop up top.
Great and inspiring post! Keep going! (: @narovski
I also write about my travels check it out :)
