Hello steemit, its been a while. Today I wanted to share something awesome. Shortly after arriving in Yellowstone to start work for the summer, I took a time lapse of Great Fountain Geyser at sunset. (at the bottom)
This geyser is awesome to watch. It's a fountain type, vs the more usual cone type. That means you have a pool of water that looks like a hot spring that water erupts out of, instead of a cone that comes up out of the ground. Yellowstone has a lot more cone geysers than fountain geysers, which makes seeing one erupt that much more amazing.
Further up the road is Firehole Lake. This lake that is hot. Really awesome to photograph in the evening.
Thanks for looking at my photos. More to come soon (hopefully). I have a whole summers worth of experiences to share.
Amazing video and photos too!
