Lalukuthi
It is also known as Northbrook Hall. Located in Farashganj Mahalla on the banks of Buriganga. The whole building is red in red color called Lalukuthi. On October 16, 904, a large meeting was held at Northbrook with the initiative of Khawaja Mohammad Yusuf, a member of the Nawab family of Dhaka, to open Dhaka's new revenue and post office. The prominent Muslims and Europeans of the city are invited to it. The meeting was expressed thanks and gratitude for the establishment of a new province and the capital of Dhaka in the British government. The North Brooke has been witness to such historic events.
