Bukit Kapur Jaddih, Tour in Bangkalan Madura Good for Photo Hunting

in #travel7 years ago

In the 1970s, when I was elementary school, general knowledge teacher (now geography) often explained about the existence of limestone mounts on the island of Madura. At that time when looking at the map (colored atlas), around Bangkalan there is a plateau. That is roughly limestone mountains, similar to the limestone mountains in Gresik, Tuban, or Kendeng (Bojonegoro), all of which lie in the northern part of Java.

In those days, I lived in Surabaya. Geographically, Bangkalan is actually very close to Surabaya, staying across the ferry from Tanjung Perak to Kamal. However, once again the moment, .. Bangkalan Madura feels jauuuhh. Closer to Lamongan or Tuban.

Now to see the limestone mountains in Bangkalan, or Madura, it feels very close. From Malang or anywhere to Bangkalan Madura, feels just the same goes to Surabaya. Surabaya Madura Bridge (Suramadu) makes close, Madura as one land with Java.

Several times to Madura, just yesterday (March 9, 2017) took time to see limestone hill Jaddih and Arosbaya. As the story of many people, I was fascinated and amazed by this limestone tour. I also with friends a solo entourage to enjoy the beauty and uniqueness of limestone attractions Jaddih and Arosbaya.

The scenery on Jaddih hill is amazing. The limestone hill is mined, dug and opened, creating a beautifully landscaped landscape. There are hills that seem to have doors or windows. There is an open space that has a pool. Open space that could be an open theater. The hill is shaped like a terraced building, big and nice.

When heading to Arosbaya hill, the impression without setting more and more visible. Visitors must be careful to bring the vehicle because the road is only fitting the size of a car, aka narrow.

With mature mining planning, and positioning, I imagine this limestone hill can be directed into a stadium, swimming pool, hotel or maybe the F1 circuit, or other flashy and beautiful buildings. This is just a shadow, which may be difficult to achieve. This mining seems to be traditionally managed by local people.

Benefits of limestone mine. Visitors need to be notified of the physical and chemical properties of limestone, chemical content and diversification of limestone utilization. The role of science and technology is very important for lime to add high value and conservation efforts of limestone mining. So far the economic benefits of limestone mining flow to anyone.

Potential mining. The amount of limestone content on both hills, and throughout Madura, needs to be informed to tourists. It becomes knowledge to build visitor attitude to arise awareness about environmental conservation.

Tour management. This limestone hill is managed in terms of science and technology, in order to provide benefits in tourism services. It is not impossible, one day mining is stopped because the raw materials run out, and then the tourism is growing. The science of lime certainly ensures high added value and benefits in tourism services
