Oh, I know... I have such a hard time remembering the 80s and 90s. More photos would have made a huge difference! Once in a while someone will show me a picture of myself in some situation from back in those days that I've never seen. Then the memories pour back in that I probably never would have thought of for the rest of my life! Pictures are so good for that.

For sure! I had a nice camera, so I am not sure why I didn't carry it around more. I am guessing it all had to do with portability.
Yeah, I lived with my aunt for a whole when I was a kid and they had a really bad ass expensive video camera. She let me use it whenever I wanted, but to be honest, who wanted to carry that big thing around.
I totally hear you. My dad did some production work for the auto planet he worked in. They found out he was a photographer and they pulled him off a machine and put him in charge of making training videos. He had all the fancy stuff, so when it came time to buy stuff for home he had high end tastes 😃. It's amazing how much technology has advanced.
