# The Humor Monastery
5 kilometers away from the city of Gura Humorului, in the picturesque village of Humorului monastery, on the valley of the Humor river, on a hill surrounded by trees and meadows, in the middle of a legendary land, of overwhelming beauty, is one of the most important attractions in Bucovina, Humor monastery. Humor Monastery is one of the most important foundations of the Moldavian middle ages, for its cultural and spiritual value being included in UNESCO world heritage.
