I want to 'warn' - this is the first part, about the places visited in two.
Follow me and you will know how to prepare for a pleasant trip to Rome and notice the prices in the Heart of Italy.
At 11:00 we arrived in Italy, the city is excellent from a height.
From Ciampino Airport we went to the center. We bought 4 tickets (tour ticket - 5 Euros with the bus ), do not buy directly tickets in the opposite direction, the last bus was at 23:30. From the airport to the center of Roma - Termini Station - you arrive in 40 minutes.
The bus/subway ticket is the same - 1,5 Euros for 60 minutes.
First we went to Vatican (the smallest officially recognized state in the world within the territory of Rome, associated with Italy.
Since we were close to the Vatican Museums, we could not resist not to visit . The entrance was 8 euros for each (for students). In order to visit almost all the museum we spent 3-4 hours. It's just a great and biggg place. The Vatican Museums (Italian: Musei Vaticani.) - A complex of museums located in the Vatican State. Their collections contain classical masters artwork, including works of the Renaissance.
To see the Colosseum (Coloseo) we decided to walk, and not for nothing that we saw on the way:
Piazza Venezia
Fontana di Trevi
The area is visited daily by thousands of visitors and tourists to see this miracle of architecture and one of the most famous sights in Italy. Some people simply enjoy the fountain and taste its purest spring water, but others believe in the tradition that says that throwing a coin into it and make a return here again, wish comes true. Weekly cleaning of the fountain brings the amount, sometimes reaching 10-11 thousand dollars, which are transferred to the charity.
Trajan's Column
Colosseum - a monument of architecture of Ancient Rome, the most famous and one of the most grandiose buildings that have survived to our time.
Thank you for your time! :)
