Hi friends! After we slept in our cozy apartment in Budapest we went out for the first walk to the city! We decided not to hurry and walk for the center to decide on thnext day what excursions we want and what kind of transport we need!
(read here about our arrival to Budapest)
The first impression from Budapest is the city of majestic architecture of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. There was some wonderful feeling that we are like in our native city Lviv!
Then we saw was an interesting and exotic - it was the Budapest Eye! The Velitene Circle, which shone and offered to see Budapest from the height of the bird's eye! The pleasure that costs 10 euros ... I will write about this air tour over Budapest in a separate post!
I live in Lviv and there is a lot in common between Lviv and Budapest! In particular, these are trams and houses! And also many sculptures of lions! I have not yet learned why the lions are in Budapest?
Trams here have brought me great pleasure! I like this kind of transport. I like to see a tram, as it, like a big caterpillar, crawls out from around the corner and moves fast along the promenade of the Danube!
We were moving towards the river, and saw a clean and beautiful city, in which the order reigns! Here you see yellow taxi and phone booths that look good! In our city taxi there are ordinary cars, therefore for us it is a novelty :)
And here we saw the Danube River, which divides Budapest into two parts: Buda and Pest. And an amazing Széchenyi lánchíd - a suspension bridge over the Danube, which is worthy to tell about it! It was named after a rich and large earl! He spent its annual income on building this bridge! I will later show the video and this story, from which originates the city of Pest!
To be continued ... Thank you for your visit!
