In this fourth part of my outback journey, I drive along the Oodnadatta track which is littered with remnants from the old Ghan railway days.
As I travel I try to cast my mind back to the late 1800s when this travel/trade route must have been quite a busy place. I couldn’t help getting nostalgic as I mentally formed images of steam trains bringing along much-needed supplies for the gold fields and the many pastoral stations along the route with Afgan cameleers waiting at the many sidings to transport cargo to their destinations.
I hope you have been enjoying this video series. Keep watching my channel for the next episodes which will be released soon.
