Time flies, doesn't it?
Before you know it... 2025 is here! First day of the year is always a good day to look back at 2024, and set our goals for the future.
Unlike 2023, 2024 wasn't a bad year at all: a few ups and downs, but overall pretty decent. Plus, I was able to catch up on one of my life goals, to visit a new country every year! The pandemic threw things off a little bit, but fortunately I'm catching up; and this year, I've added 4 new countries to the list!
Belgium was the first one, where a professional formation made me get to know a country that I wouldn't put high on my places to vist list, and ended up loving; besides, learned that I actually enjoy beer! As yes, cherry beer counts! :P
Morocco followed, pure leasure with a taste of the desert.
And to wrap the year, Singapore and Phillipines, my return to Asia after a few years away.
The only bad part of this last trip, is that I'm dying to go back; definitely one of my favourite areas in the world!
Sharing these photos reminded me on the amount of posts I want to do about these places, and still haven't done! Which brings me to Hive. How was my year in the blockchain?

There are a lot more metrics in the website, but this card makes for a decent summary. 2024 was without a doubt the year I posted less since I've joined; the activity wasn't as big as I would have liked, but hey: that's life!
One thing for sure: posts will keep coming, but I won't try to hit any metrics; posting has to be joyful, not something you feel "obliged" to (not that I posted for that reason, but illustrates my point). And another thing is likely true, those will still be my facourite communities! Truth be told though, Worldmappin shouldn't be third place on the list, since I would put it right next to my beloved FeatheredFriends on the top spot, as the communities where I like to post the most: wildlife and travelling, likely my two biggest life passions!
This year, I won't set any goals for HP or HBD or LEO: hopefully the best part of the bull market is yet to come, and I want to see how well I play the trading game if that holds true. I'll keep growing my stake, that's for sure: I'm here for the long term! When I joined 6 years ago, minnow was a mirage! I'm becoming a fatter dolphin now, and suddenly an Orca doesn't feel like an impossible feat... let's see what the future brings! And whatever it brings, I hope the cool people I've met here, both online and offline, share the trip with me.
