Saw and smelled it many times as I was traveling in Singapore and Indonesia. Never had the guts to actually taste it. Maybe one day when I'm back there.

We have jackfruit in our place which looks similar as this fruit, Durian. Jackfruit is sweet and really yum. In my video showing a clip of jackfruit, people commented about their not so happy experience about Durian. That was the first time I heard of this fruit. Googling for Durian I found this fruit looks almost alike except the size and thought maybe the taste will be similar too. But, now I see their point. If it tastes like cheese, then its definitly way too different than jackfruit.
Ya it can be confused with jackfruit, but Jackfruit is totally different in taste. Durian has Torns as a shell that actually hurt, jackfruit has a smooth surface.
