So, we slept at a mountain refuge: Refugio Hielo Azul (i don't know why i didn't take any photos of that place, but i regret it) and the next day we went to Laguna Sucia. It's close to the refuge but the trek was really steep.
Going up.
There was snow reaching the top.
Then we went back to the refuge to pick up our backpacks to move to a second refuge, next to a lagoon. The road up to there was amazing, and we felt like in The lord of the rings movie.
The water there was surprising warm.
Again, no photos of the refuge (i guess i always was too tired when reaching so i didn't even think about it) but this was the view from there. It is next to Laguna Natacion, a beautiful lagoon.
A cat with her kittens, sleeping inside the place.
After resting some time, eating some homemade bread and talking with the people at the place, we went to Cuevas de Hielo. It a place with natural ice caves, forme by the runing deicing water.
Again, i guess i'll have to make a third part.
Wow this looks amazing, Im from South africa so I dont get much snow hehe. would love to travel up there someday
Me neither, i'm from Buenos Aires haha. Argentina has a lot of downsides but the geography is definitely not one of those. If you have the possibility you should visit Argentina's south.
I've been to Argentina but not there! I think I have to go back! :D
