Iboih beach, known as Teupin Layeu, located around the edge of Weh Island in Aceh. Iboih have large protected forest reserves like the heaven in the world.
How to access the location ?
From Banda Aceh, You must go to Ulee Lheueu port with ferry or speedboat. If you use speedbot you need 45 minutes with 50K IDR with twice a day. In other way, you can use ferry with 20K IDR and 2 hours. After entering Weh Island, you can use minibus to Iboih beach with beautiful view.
What is the activity ?
The favorite activities at Iboih beach are diving, snorkeling and exploring forest. Iboih beach has many locations to diving and snorkeling with the calm waves. At the west of Iboih beach, you will find surfing location with bigger waves than other location.
At Iboih beach, you have chance to diving with the volcano erupted in the Pleistocene era and it is said what eventually separates Weh Island from the main island of Sumatra. You must go to diving spot at West Seulako, Rubiah Sea Garden, North Rubiah with the calm seashore, atau Batee Tokong. Pantee Aneuk Seuke atau 'The Canyon' will give the cave, curve, wall and canyon with many fish like mantas, barracuda, Moray eels, and napoleon wrasse fish.
Iboih beach has many facilities and accomodation like hotel, bungalows, cafe, restaurant, diving and snorkeling equipment and speedbot.
