The second stop of the trip is Bridestowe Lavender Estate. I've always had a romantic vision of a purple sea of lavender. A lady with the long hair dress in white, dancing in the field full of lavender with a straw hat. You could instantly smell the blooming fragrance of lavender field in that summer breeze.

With the vision in my mind, we've headed to this true French lavender farm. Bridestowe was one of the three large lavender farms in Tassie. This one has been around for, quite a while, in fact, it was established in 1921. I can see that it's quite up there. Things were kept as impeccable as possible. The staffs were very friendly. Merchandises were well designed, packaged and displayed. From oil, bath and Goat's milk soap, tea leaves, diffuser, skincare products, heat pack to salt and "flower water" - Are all made out of lavender.

Of course, the Tasmanian Icon - Bobbie the Teddy Lavender Bear. The owners stuff the plush toys with the excess dried lavender laying around, and now afterthought it has turned into the international smash the hit. ( Source :ABC News) A Chinese celebrity was seen with Bobbie the Bear on the social media cuddling the bear, attracted hundreds of thousand Chinese flocked to this lavender farm to buy the fluffy bear! What's more influential, was the Chinese president arrived in Tasmania was given the AUTHENTIC Bobbie the bear upon his arrival! The real joke is Bobbie the bear is a minor Chinese celebrity.

Despite the fact there was no full-blown lavender, we can see the neat rows of shrubs. Perhaps in the future, @myday would come here with me to take some breathtaking colorful shots, in good lights. What I would not miss out for the world was the lavender ice-cream. I had tried, I mean I have to come back and tell you that it didn't taste like laundry softener.

The Little Blue Lake

On our way to Hobart from Launceston, located in the northeast of Tasmania. There was originally a little mine hole, but now a little blue lake reflecting in a vivid turquoise color. This beautiful aqua blue little "pond" resembles a fraction of the BlueLagoon in Iceland. It's literally a-big-piece-of-hidden gem" on those windy roads.
