The Eismarillenknödel at Tichy are really nice otherwise I prefer Schwedenplatzeis or (one of the more hipster places) Eisgreissler on Rotenturmstraße.
If the weather is nice take the bus from Heiligenstadt up to the Cobenzl, the old restaurant there has a new owner and is really nice now. And have a walk around there and enjoy the view. If you´d like you could also walk back down in direction of Nußdorf and have some wine at one of the Heurigen.
For more urban walks, the Donaukanal is a great place - street art, art and nice little bars and restaurants.
If you like photography, visit Westend or Ostlicht - both are great.

Thank you for the tips! Yes unfortunately we saw your answer on Saturday just before checkout of the hotel...
Anyway: we visited Tichy and the ice cream was awesome! next time we will try the Eismarillenknödel ;) We will keep your other tips and this post in mind if we'll visit your town again. Thank you for your help!
