As many of you know and as also described in my account, I am often on the road with my camping car. Since many have at best a vague idea of the "camper life", I want to introduce you to this one.
You will notice that there are many polar bears on our mobile. Well, this has a reason: When we had bought that precious piece in 2014, we were looking for a name. Then our youngest cried, "Knut." In the German-speaking world, most know where the name comes from: from the famous polar bear, Knut, who lived in the Berlin Zoo during his lifetime. The name was approved by everybody.
Some pictures are a bit older (recognizable on the missing knut on the alcove-front), but some are also quite recent. I will try to bring Knut and camper life closer to the Steemit community. I hope you like my post!

Wie viele von Euch wissen und wie auch in meinem Account beschrieben, bin ich des öftern mit unserem Reisemobil unterwegs. Da viele bestenfalls eine vage Vorstellung vom "Camperleben" haben, will ich Euch dieses hier einmal kurz vorstellen.
Euch wird sicher auffallen, dass es an und in unserem Mobil viele Eisbären hat. Nun, das hat einen Grund. Als wir uns das gute Stück im Jahr 2014 zugelegt hatten, suchten wir nach einem Namen und unser Jüngste rief gleich: "Knut". Im deutschsprachigen Raum wissen die meisten, woher der Name kommt: Von dem berühmten Eisbären Knut der zu Lebzeiten im Berliner Zoo wohnte. Der Name wurde einstimmig angenommen.
Einige Bilder sind vielleicht etwas älter (zu erkennen an dem fehlenden Knut an der Alkoven-Front), zum Teil aber auch ziemlich rezent. Ich werde versuchen, der Steemit-Gemeinschaft unseren Knut und das Camperleben etwas näher zu bringen. Ich hoffe, mein Beitrag gefällt Euch!

e.g. fresh water filling as well as black- and greywater dumping
z.B. Frischwassser füllen sowie Schwarz- und Grauwasser entsorgen
But aside this the campers life is most of the time relaxing ....
Aber abgesehen davon ist das Camperleben meist relax ....

Drink and drive don't work, but drink and stay to sleep is doing well:

Oh how fun! What a great camper..no wonder you love it. I lived in a camper for 1 month that we took to Arizona and I mostly loved it!
It's always a great adventure, when we leave with Knut. But you got to be sure that everyone in the family likes it. Therfore we rented twice before buying our own rv.
We sold ours...it was a tow behind one that required a big truck. Just too much 'equipment' to deal with. We decided we were more sports car with the top down VRBO or B&B type people!
Great post I would love to get a camper like that when I retire and travel for a year or three not sure my wife would be so keen on the idea

Great post! I would love to be able to go where ever I want and just sleep in the camper, together with the dog... that's real freedom. Or a boat to travel the world would be nice too! :)

Yes, it's freedom indeed and we all love it. No Hotel reservation and you are free to change the destination on the last minute e.g. When the weather doesn't fit.

Naja diese on Tour dinger hat ja jeder such Dir nen Graffiti Künstler die schaffen ware Eisbär kunstwerke für ein bischen Farbe und ein schmales Taschengeld ;) On tour machen die Gratis oben drauf ^^ oder In knut we Trust was auch immer
