Second Week In India

in #travel7 years ago

Second week there was a lot better. We had just arrived at Vrindavan (small city not so far from city Agra where Taj Mahal is located). We had booked hotel there and hotel itself was amazing. I finally got enough sleep and I could finally sleep well and comfortable.

For second week I was just wandering around town, had a boat trip, visited Taj Mahal and that's basically it.

And also while I was still in Puri, I had a chance to see a different type of Taj Mahal. Little bit smaller and made out of sand. It was pretty cool that I had a chance to see both and now I can compare it.

While I was on a boat trip I also managed to capture few better pictures that I think are worth upload here. My boat trip started in Vrindavan and ended up in Mathura. We traveled in river Yamuna about 10km and whole trip lasted about 4 hours. It was frustrating for us just to sit there in 35°C heat under the sun. I wonder how it was for a guy who rowed 10km nonstop with a boat full of 12 people not including him.

Last two or three days I spent eating ice cream on our hotel roof. It's easy accessible for every hotel guest anytime of the day and night. I took my camera with me every time that I went there just in case I'll find something. So I did shot few pictures there and here is the result:

In Vrindavan, the place where I spent second week in India, monkeys are one of the biggest problems not only for tourists but for locals also. It's like a curse for them, for people living in such a nice place. But for some reason I did go well with these little majestic creatures. I took some pictures of them, they didn't even mind it, so in the end I even fed them.

Now, since I'm back, I can definitely tell that India is not a country for me. I tried my best to look at the bright side, but i just couldn't enjoy it and now I'm really happy that I'm finally home.

Thanks for your time! Have a nice day!

Nice photos, I especially like the third one.
Also the monkey ones are pretty cool too.

And even though you didn't really like it there, I believe it still was a somewhat 'nice' experience.
You got the chance to experience the world outside of your home country and all that...

Thank you! I'm glad you liked them.
Experience was incredible and I can not argue against that. But just the environment and everything around just wasn't for me.

amazing photography. thanks for sharing.

Great photos!

High quality! Can't wait for the next articles.
