Trip to London - Day #3

in #travel8 years ago

Hello everyone

Todays plan is to go everywhere after breakfast. Wife's seminar is over and we can go wherever we want together. But first things first I have to take her to one place i saw something she will like, something sweet. She was amazed by sheer combination and said that it can replace breakfast easily, and maybe even lunch by calorie count.

Double Chocolate Cookie Mocha With Chocolate

After that gorgeous mocha we sat on a double-decker and went to Trafalgar Square where we enjoyed the view, fountains and throng of people everywhere. There I saw Nelson's Column wich is a monument in Trafalgar Square built to commemorate Admiral Horatio Nelson, who died at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805. After a while and some photos we entered National Gallery where taking photos is forbidden so sorry there will not be photos from inside.

"Gift Horse", what a strange gift to get

As sightseeing took us by surprise and time passed by we almost forgot we had reservations at Sky Garden skyscraper. You have to register on their site and print a ticket and everything. Rushed there and entered the building. Waiting time is fast and elevator is even faster, so fast my ears poped. Upon exiting elevator the view is magnificent, 360 degrees of pure London and botanical garden all in one. Down below are some photos I've taken so take your time and enjoy the view.

The Shard

HMS Belfast

After all day of sightseeing i had a surprise to take my wife to Harrods, she deserved it and you have to take your wife there if ever in London. All the love and support she is giving me is nothing compared to a gift i got her. She was blown away and just in a need of a new one.

Today's adventure is over and see you all tomorrow
