Cagayan de Oro City: My Home for 3 Decades Now

Cagayan de Oro City was my home for almost 3 decades already. I was born and raised from this city, gone schooling, shopping, and mall hopping, turned whole day and night lifestyle and mostly I had my hard earned degree in one of the university here in the city.

I have witnessed of how many times this city come to trials when experienced struggling devastation from nature way back 2012.

I have also witnessed many ravages from typhoons but what’s more to be proud of is its resiliency to rise up from the tribulations caused by weather phenomena.

Its people are most friendly as it dubbed to be a “City of Golden Friendship” and traits like being hospitable and kind are one of the characters embodied by the Kagayanons.

I am more proud that this city has gone too far now, from the emerging skyscraper to the good and prudent bigger economy. There’s nothing more we can ask for but a place to live in a harmonious and peaceful living.
