I visited Suzhou Gardens today, also called the Humble Administrator's Garden. It was started in the 1500s. It was a cold day but we had fun viewing the sites in the garden.
The detail work in the walking paths was unbelievable. Here is an example.
The stone sculptures were very interesting and unlike anything I had ever seen.
Overall, the scenery is beautiful and serene. Here is one more image showing a pond with reflections of the buildings in the water.
I would like to visit again in the spring or summer to see the garden in full bloom and with leaves on the trees. If you ever are in Suzhou, I highly recommend seeing this garden.
