Hello, dear steemit friends!
I call myself a train rider who often make railway travels. I study in Beijing and work in Beijing Railway Bureau now.
When I was 13 years old, I traveled by train for the first time. Then I found that I lost myself in railway.
I'd like to share my trips and photos with dear steemians. I think I'll make more friends on steemit!
Bapanxia, the maganificent view for three railway lines!
Bapanxia is located in the west of Lanzhou, at the junction of Xigu, Honggu and Yongjing. The Huangshui River joins with the Yellow River there.Lanzhou-Qinghai railway, Lanzhou-Xinjiang high-speed railway and Liujiaxia railway special line pass from there.
the location of Bapanxia Railway Station and Railway lines nearby
I have been there three times. There are two great dams Liujiaxia and Yanguoxia Dam nearby.
In the south of the Bapanxia Dam, I found a very good place to see trains and railway lines.
Lanzhou-Qinghai railway in yellow, Lanzhou- Xianjiang passenger railway in green
I climbed to the top of the hill and looked down, what a spectacular scenery! After several minutes I took out my camera and pressed the shutter at the critical moments.
The train #Z294 Urumqi-Hankou
The train CRH Xining-Lanzhou
Unbelievable and great photos I took! Hahaha! The trains and bridges are so harmonic that I had no words to express my ideas.
Bapanxia is where former President Hu Jintao worked. In 1968, Hu volunteered to work on the construction of Liujiaxia Hydroelectric Station. He was assigned to Bapanxia as a member of the Engineering Office of the Ministry of Water Resources.
You can see the Bapanxia Hydroelectric Station and Dam in the distance.
Actually, it's better to see the train pass away on the Lanqing railway line because it‘s a curve line.
This is a beacon tower, it was built during the Ming Dynasty. It seems that there is also a granary below.
This is where the Huangshui River joins the Yellow River. It's quite distinct from each other. The Huangshui River is more muddy than the Yellow River!
Bapanxia is a magic place, isn't it?
