Hey there Steemit!
An other day, and other adventure! Yesterday evening we arrived at Porto Santo Stefano , a seaport town on the westcoast of Italy in the province of Grosseto. With Airbnb we rented a californian-type of beach house, and we were all quite nervous how it would turn out to be in real life! After all we never used Airbnb before, and the images could be misleading! However, the beach house turned out to be amazing!
Isn't it amazing? being able to see the sun rising from the sea, on the balcony of your own beach house?
The beach house
Yesterday we arrived at around 05:20 p.m. We were quickly handed the keys, by the friendly housekeeper, and could immediately enjoy the villa! Everything was perfectly arranged, up to a parking spot for our cars! So, I could certainly recommend the use of Airbnb, if you guys are thinking about using it!

Normally we always stayed in a hotel, but this year we wanted to try something different. And I have to say, the rental of this beach house really gives a very different holiday experience. You have way more freedom! You can eat when you want, were you want and what you want! And you can basically do what ever you like, without hundreds of people watching you.
The beach house is furnished with a modern interior, filled with amazing art made from marine debris!

Sea view
The house itself is located right by the sea, and has an amazing balcony which offers the MOST amazing view. So, we will be having breakfast, lunch and diner with sea view! In addition it also has it's own private beach, so we can swim, dive, snorkel, and kano in peace, until we drop... haha.

The sea itself has a rockbottom, and therefore is very clear with a beautiful blue/greenish water-tone. There also is an abundant water life, with several kinds of fish and coral, which makes it the perfect place for some snorkeling and diving. Unfortunately I do not have an underwater camera, so I can not show you guys the awesome beauty of our local underwater world (I don't even have a proper camera, let alone an underwater camera... hahaha)! But trust me, it is first class.

Porto Santo Stefano
This morning we visited the city centre of Porto Santo Stefano. It's an authentic, small Italian town, were there is not much to do. So, it is the perfect place to unwind, have some old school family time and do some snorkeling, and diving.
We did some groceries (And with some I mean a lot) at the local grocery store, and bought some fresh fish at the fish market to barbecue this evening!
I always love to do groceries. Looks at all the amazing foods <3
Our daily schedule
We will be handeling the typical Hermanns-schedule (Hermanns is our lastname, haha), which involves extensive eating, swimming, shopping and playing cards (With the emphasis on eating... hahaha).
