(Kannada: ಅಬ್ಬೆ ಜಲಪಾತ Abbe Jalaphatha) is in Kodagu, in the Western Ghats in Karnataka.
It is found 8 km from the Madikeri, 122 km from Mysore, 144 km from Mangalore and 268 km from Bangalore.
The waterway is a piece of the early reaches of the stream Kaveri. Stream is considerably higher amid the rainstorm season.
The cascade is situated between private espresso ranches with stocky espresso shrubberies and zest bequests with trees weaved with pepper vines. A hanging span developed simply inverse the falls.
The falls was before called Jessi falls, named after a British officer's better half. Be that as it may, the place was a thick wilderness zone in those days.
