The current currency is the Sovereign Bolivar, but some government declarations have already eliminated the barriers that prohibited the free exchange of convertible currencies, with the US dollar and the Euro the coins that circulate the most in the country, after Bolívar. Here I make a clarification, there are two currency changes: one official controlled by the Central Bank of Venezuela and another parallel call which is published by some web pages and is with which most of the goods and services are canceled, it is for this that one must be careful with which exchange rate they use when canceling posadas, restaurants, transport and other tourist services, since they can be scammed.
