wow, what a coincidence! We're both writing about CM and Phuket from different perspectives. I see you've traveled around this area a lot as well. I look forward to more of your posts.

Yeah, enjoying my life in Thailand as well :)I wouldn't say that pollution is higher in Phuket, then in Chiang Mai, btw. The Airport is situated in the North of the island, most part of the population and tourists live at least 30 km away from it. But car traffic in Phuket is nothing compared to Chiang Mai, which is much worse as you breathe in the pollution they give directly. More over ,I just started to type smog in google and one of the proposed searches was " smog in Chiang Mai". So I guess ecology is much better in Phuket ;)
oh yes I agree with you. I wrote that bit badly and it didn't come out right. :)
I like the attitude of Chiang Mai citizens way better than phuketians:) People are more opened, ready to help and don't think only about making a profit. That's a big issue here in Phuket because most part of locals came from other provinces to work here and get money!
Yes, that's definitely one of the reasons I like CM. Most of the people there are from northern Thailand so it's more of a genuine northern Thai experience.
