  • Events

The cultural center “La Casa Encendida” is one of the main spaces in Madrid with free cultural events. Arrived in the city, check what is happening there. They are exhibitions, shows, theater, cinema shows and more.

  • Celebrations

In Madrid you will always find what to do and what is not lacking are religious celebrations in the official calendar of the city. However, two of them deserve prominence, guaranteed free fun.

During the month of May, the capital of Spain celebrates San Isidro, in the year 2018, the party will take place from 11 to 15 May. It is considered the most lively and welcoming party in the city.

  • Parks

Take at least half a day to visit El Retiro. Aside from the beauty and clean air of the place, you will still come to the Crystal Palace.
For those who like to take photos, no matter the season, El Retiro offers the best scenery. And you will not pay anything to know the place.

Another park that is well worth a visit is El Capricho, which is in the Alameda de Osuna neighborhood, a garden with traces of Romanticism. Exploring more you’ll a large lake with black swans, a palace and a labyrinth formed out of impeccably manicured trees and bushes.

You can see two incredible museums in Madrid without paying anything.
In the Reina Sofia Museum and the Prado Museum from Monday to Saturday from 6 pm (the visit ends at 8 pm) and Sundays from 5 pm (also with the visit ending at 8 pm), the entrance is free.

The Free Tour option is sweeping the main cities of Spain (the Madrid and Toledo Free Tours are already a classic), they show you everything, not in a hurry but without going into the details, and it's a good starting point without just arriving in the city or if you want to know which monuments and routes are going to be more interesting.
