Different Rock Formations from Erosion in Cappadocia |卡帕多西亚洞穴

Doesn't this photo give you a classic look of a painting of a fairy land? This photo is actually taken on the mountain side of Cappadocia.

Here, you actually see different rock formations that came as a result of erosion from volcanic activities.

The ones in the front are sharp and reddish brown in color. They look like sharp towers with mushroom heads.
Then behind them, there are other standing rocks shooting up but without the mushroom cap. They come in different sizes and more soft in color.
Going further to the background, you see a landscape of a mountain plain that stands a bit higher.

Make sure you spend some time walking some of these mountain trails when you come to Cappadocia. It is very natural and scenic.
