๐ŸŒ Steemit World Map Challenge #21 ๐ŸŒ

in #travel โ€ข 6 years ago

Greetings travelers!

Welcome to the 21st week of the #swmchallenge where we travel around the globe and try to bring up to light the most unique and special places or events worth visiting or putting on your travel bucket list. Each week here is filled with posts full of captivating scenery, stunning images and great stories. Basically, great travel blogs worth checking out. So If you like to travel (digitally or in real life) #swmchallenge is the place to go.

For those who still don't know about SteemitWorldMap

It's a fun tool made by @blueorgy and @martibis that allows you to pin your posts to a specific location or browse the world map where ideally every place on the map is a Steemit post. #swmchallenge is my attempt to make it more popular and build a community around it.

Travel blogs of the week

#1 Santoriniโ€”come for the sun, pools, wine, vegan cheese... and no kids!

@choogirl takes us on an adventure thru one of the Greek's most beautiful island, Santorini. Despite some difficulties in the beggining of her trip, she ends up having a great time.

#2 Istanbul baklava or Turkish viagra

@rosy440 takes us on a culinary delight and makes our mounth water by showing the very sweet but insanely delicious baklava, a traditional Turkish pastry that will melt your sweet tooth away. I have tried "copies" of it in my home country Croatia and they are great but I bet they can't compare to what the Turks make. Hopefully one day I'll get to try the real deal.

#3 Throwback Thursday's: Weekend Away In Milan, Italy (2/2)

We join @travelling-two on their weekend trip to Milan, Italy. They explored the city, the food and visited Italy's oldest active shopping mall, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. They even got to see an iconic soccer match; AC Milan vs Juventus.

Thanks for selecting my blog. Means a lot :)

hey @hungry-nomad :) Where are you taking us next?

Definitely to more amazing places.... :)

Thanks for the shout out!

Thanks for contributing such great content to the map/contest. Very well written and comprehensive.

Steem on!

Thank you @runicar! It is such a great honor that we were chosen and came in 3rd place. Thank you all!

Congratz once again and wish you much success in the future; in the contest and on Steemit in general. Quality content is easily hidden amongst the sea of new content these days. Glad this one got pinned on the map forever :)

Thank you and it's only a mirror reflection of what is happening in the world. There's so much content and hustle out there that it's hard to get your voice heard. Keeping doing what you're doing and let's fill that map up with great quality posts! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Yes, hopefully we get more projects like @curie here and that they will get more SP to curate more authors.

I just saw you picked me again!!! Thanks so much! What an honor.

Np, I'm glad to have you here contributing such well written/edited travel blogs. Also I enjoyed the edits you made to the first image :)

I thought it should look a bit old because of the name Antigua ;) Ill go on with the good work then ;) - Its just nice to be appreciated.
