Japan. Part7.

in #travel8 years ago

As paradoxical as it sounds, but tourists trapped in the land of the rising sun, it is extremely difficult to see the sunrise. The fact is that the sun rises in these parts outrageously early, and night life in Japan has not for feeding a lark.

In General, starting from the second day of travel, we woke up not before the moment when the half light of the Japanese day was near the equator. But anything to do with them was impossible: rich walks, tired feet, neon nights, tasty beer – and now approaching noon seems early in the morning.

Our second day in Sapporo, I again started with a trip to the nearest combini for Breakfast and little personal pleasures in the form of spanking, my Slippers on the net Japanese asphalt, the smell of cooking food joints for lunch and beams of high standing in the sky of the sun, which will soon sit at the high horizon high Japanese streets.

However, the lyrics are lyrics, and lunch on schedule.

Combine was 5 minutes from the hotel. On the way, rotating my shoulder, I saw the characteristic of Japan's gas station, where there are our usual columns, and the hose for filling down from the top right under the ceiling. The meaning of this approach I see to save space and convenience in the provision of related services (in Japan, often filling combined with a car wash).

But the love hotel in the morning, a street incongruously, like a bookkeeper, who had donned a mini skirt to work. But just wait for the evening darkness and the love hotel will become a harmonious part of Japan, which gradually pulled the same bookkeeper.

Now about our plans for the day described.
We decided that we would start it with a trip to mount Moiwa, and then visit the Sapporo Chocolate Factory, and we will continue to act according to the situation (good options we harvested with a vengeance).

On the road from the hotel we obviously stumbled upon some concert platform, which stood a truck with equipment for the performance of a group.

Later at home I googled these guys. They were a popular rock band. Listen not to my taste, so we didn't get happiness by.

But past this building just like that with the camera not pass.

To destination we get a brand new form of Japanese public transport – the tram. Tram in Sapporo complements the metro in South-Western part of the city where the underground lines are few. For your comfort Japanese tram is not inferior to other modes of transport, but the need for the tourist visibility is superior to subway.
Getting out of the tram, we walked to their destination from the bus stop to the resort on mount Moiwa (10-15 minutes on foot), looking in the Windows of houses decorating talents of local residents

The mount Moiwa we chose as one of the places to visit for the reason that there is promised a great view of the entire city. Capelin is present in almost every guidebook and tourist map as a must visit in Sapporo place.

The complex consists of a cableway, which with one change allows you to climb the mountain. In buildings, the role of the stations, there is a restaurant with city views, souvenir shops, conference hall for 100 seats for the contemplation of a forest landscape, and at the top there is an observation deck. The road to the mountain is around 1200 meters, increasing the height is a little less than 400 meters. In this case the motion when lifting is in the sum hardly more than 10 minutes. Longer time waiting at a transit point in the middle of the road, which, however, is expected to spend on buying Souvenirs.
Like most landmarks in Japan mount Moiwa has its own character. Frankly, I was not able neither to understand nor to know what is the relationship of this image with the place that it symbolizes.

For me, if you look closely, this character is more suitable for the politically correct set hepi-mil in American McDonald's.

Yet at the bottom it becomes clear that the top view of the city is excellent.

The second part of the ascent to the Capelin is a short, but very steeply up the rail road. A kind of comfortable version of a roller coaster, only without the sudden drops.

And here we are at the top of the observation deck of mount Moiwa.

And this landed in Sapporo "flying saucer" - Sapporo Dome, the stadium, which ten years ago (at the time of travel) hosted several matches of world Cup 2002. And even David Beckham managed to score on the pitch of this stadium goal against Argentina

After graduating with a contemplation of Sapporo again loaded into our "jar " Capelin" and sent down.

I don't envy the guys who would need to open a branch of this company in Russia )))

Rare, in my opinion, the view of the building in Japan is more reminiscent of a Soviet Palace of Culture, than a part of the urban Japanese landscape.

The Japanese plant trees and shrubs in the local area with flowers, of course, is a huge part of the overall charm of the Japanese cities. No state, I believe, is not able to cope with the task of beautification of the cities, if the citizens will not seek to make their city more beautiful. The Japanese certainly are an example to follow.

The purity in Japan, like a gas in physics, and fills all space available to it. So for the second day in Sapporo, I suddenly felt that feeling of total purity expanded from visible objects of Japanese life to insensible of space around. It's so hard I tell you about the stunningly clear and fresh Japanese air. As paradoxical as it sounds, but the sheer freshness of the Japanese air strikes. The rumor that in the concrete jungle of the big Japanese cities with little greenery (and therefore lack of oxygen) is extremely exaggerated. The Japanese cherish and nurture this in every way the greens at every suitable patch of space. Characteristically it not only for Sapporo but for Tokyo. You've got the Park, where the alley, there's a Bush next to the flowers and so on.
In the already distant year 2010, when I was in Tokyo, I sharply realized one day that during my stay there I did not feel for a second the smell of the exhausts of motor fuel. No standing on the side of the road or even in traffic flows following the bus. After the "smoke house" on our native roads is really shocking.

Capelin we were done, we go for dessert at a chocolate factory!
