Adventure in LA: Part 1 探索洛杉矶：1

In the following stories, I will post a trip that I had approximately a month ago. My roommate and I drove down to LA after our summer classes and we spent a quality couple of days exploring the area.
接下来几个博客我会写一写我大概一个月前去洛杉矶的旅行。我和我室友在上完暑期课程之后开车去LA玩了一个星期，真的发现洛杉矶是一个很不错的地方。

We departed Berkeley around noon, and we found a pretty good lunch place in Hayward, which is a city south of Berkeley on East Bay. The portions were so huge for the price, which is to our surprise haha. Actually, this trip is all about how affordable things are outside of the Bay Area lol. Anyways, here's a picture of the first lunch we had on the trip(it was delicious):
我们在中午的时候从伯克利出发，在伯克利南面的海沃德市吃了午饭。这家日本料理既便宜又好吃，真的非常的出乎我们的意料。其实我们这整个trip都发现很多地方物价很便宜，就是伯克利的贵哈哈哈。

一路开车，快到洛杉矶的时候看到了很不错的景色：

Our house was next to Dodger Stadium and the Elysian Park next to our house has a really really nice vice of downtown LA. I will show you guys the view in a later post. I really enjoyed our house!
我们住在市中心旁边，房子很棒！

On the first day, we went to Din Tai Fung for lunch, and the Xiaolongbao we had was absolutely delicious! It is interesting that Ding Tai Fung offers free valet parking around the block, which I have never experienced in NorCal.

We then went to the Observatory, and there was a nice view of both Hollywood and Downtown LA. The first day was really chill and we had a lot of fun!
