I don't actually have the exact words to describe this beautiful palace that is nested on the hills of Shivamogga district in Karnataka. The palace belonged to the great Shivappa Nayaka who belonged to the clan of Keladi Nayaka's who ruled the region after the fall of Vijayanagara Empire during the 15th century.
Shivappa Nayaka was a great soldier who fought the Portuguese and built many forts and palaces which are today historic masterpieces. This fort is located admit beautiful surroundings and attracts tourists towards it for its beauty and architecture.
