Yes I love my origins food and people here are amazed how spicy this halfie can eat... The secret lays with my mom hahaha... Southern people were influenced by the spices and herbs shipped-in hundreds of years ago and we developed a strong spice immune. ;)
Yeah, the southern folks sure do love that extra kick of spiciness :)
That's impressive that you do have a spice tolerance being a halfie, but that is also no surprise, your mom sure did give you a great trait.
A lot of Thais can't even handle the chilis.
I get that all the time as a foreigner, nobody ever thinks I can eat the phet mak mak stuff, and I shock them everytime, it's awesome seeing their faces :)
