Trip up the 1 or PCH. Suggestions?

Looks like I'll be making the journey up California's Highway 1 or Pacific Coast Highway
Any ideas or suggestions for stops, sights, sounds, or taste along the way. We will begin in the OC and work our way up to SF. I am looking to extend the drive to about 4-5days. Let me know what you think. In the end I will post my journey up here on SteemIt
