In the beginning of December we ventured to the (not so) happiest place on Earth to experience Disney for the holidays. It was Jace's first time so we had to do it big. We stayed at the Disneyland Hotel, bought the hopper pass between Disneyland and California Adventure, let him eat whatever he wanted, stayed up past bedtime. Jace was on a Disney high for days after the trip ended. I loved watching him absorb all the new experiences. He soon became best friends with Pluto. It's a trip that I will never forget.

When we went to Disneyland a few years ago and it seems like me and my wife spent more time in the park than the kids did. They spent a lot of time at the hotel and got more enjoyment out of the pool. Its kind of disappointing that they didn't enjoy it as much as we did.
I went with no expectation, since it was his first time I really thought it could be a disaster. I think each time you go back it gets better and better, especially as they get older and can really appreciate it all.
How old is he now? I want to take Weston to Aulani when we go to Hawaii in Oct. he will be about 1, so I am wondering if he will be old enough to absorb it all
Jace is 20 months...we went to Aulani when we were in Hawaii this past Nov. We didn't stay there but went for the character breakfast. It was Jace's first time and he was starstruck. That's what prompted me to take him to Disneyland
Aww love it. I can’t wait for Weston’s reactions to these types of things!!
