Chilling Alongside A River In The Lap of A Hill

in #travel8 years ago

I am currently in the beautiful country of Nepal, visiting my parents and it is certainly a breather from the intense heat of India where temperatures were reaching 45 degrees Celsius.

As you might already know, Nepal is blessed with natural beauty and the more you travel around, the more you want to spend time here. I did the same yesterday as I took a little trip with my family to a riverside resort.

We went to the Sukute Beach Resort which is almost a 3 hour drive from home. As you start getting further away from the city, the air starts getting fresher and the view, a lot more beautiful with green hills.

This canoe was near the entrance and I really liked the quote.

What is great about this place is that there are no hotel buildings that you usually get to see. Instead there are areas where tents are constructed and you can rent one out if you want to stay the night. You can hang around on the banks of the river, swim in the pool, dance to the music, go river rafting and have a great time amidst mother nature.

The resort is built right next to a river called "Bhote Koshi" river and what's really awesome is that this river literally flows through the hills. That makes for a spectacular view. You really have to be there to appreciate it fully.

The river looks narrow and shallow but it is actually very wide and deep.

Some people chilling on the bank of the river. So relaxing...
