Don't Go Solo

Just when I told my friends and family that I'm going off for solo travel
and that idea was bounced off to their ears,
most of them showed awful face expression like they were trying to tell
"are you gone insane?",
"why would you do that, not dangerous meh?",
"you don't have anymore friends?",
"I can't accept to travel alone lo, isn't it sad and lonely?"
or something funny like
"dude you're damn rich huh",
"why don't you get a girlfriend travel with you?"
and many more queer questions just like I've had wrongdoings.

I don't usually respond and explain spontaneously,
I'd rather giggled and then said
"maybe you should try once or give it another shot".
Well of course, that's par for the course,
more comments would be heard and
I would get barred from explaining myself thereafter.

In fact yeah I do love traveling with friends
but many reasons leads to go solo,
especially if you are a no-strings-attached travel addict,
sorry I mean travel enthusiast :P
However we were been stereotyped that
traveling must be a group fun and
being alone simply mean you are bloody hell lonely.
I agree up to certain extent, nonetheless,
there is so much fun and satisfaction than you would have thought about going solo.

Fine they might be right,
it's indeed undeniable also that
you could be at dangerous surroundings,
language barrier,
no one takes picture for you,
get cheated on taxi fare,
get conned by strangers,
belongings get snatched and so on.

Afterall I don't give a sh*t,
it won't stop me from doing it again!

When I travel alone to Kaohsiung , a lot of people got shocked too! However, I enjoyed it so much, and I met a lot of new friends.

Although I still met some weird person, but I know how to protect myself, and learning too!

Your life only once, never regret on it !

Indeed fun and scary at the same time. Looking back those memories, I would always say "let's do it again!" LOL
