My maternal grandfather once tried to grow a banana plant in his back yard in L.A, California. When the fruit emerged, they looked dwarf-like. It is much warmer there than in Hungary, so I can only imagine what your bananas look like.

They looks okay! Currently this part of Hungary started to warmth up. Summertime I will look for bananas :)

Ok. I am wrong then. I would think that they wouldn't grow at all. Oh yeah. Wait a minute. You probably like in that part of Magyarszag that has a modified, Mediterranean climate.
